Kokumoon {kôhkom – grandmother Cree | moon} is the creations, jewelry & beadwork of First Nation artist Tracey Lynne Towedo, from Treaty 9 Territory (Aroland FN), creating on the unceded territory of the Algonquin Nation.
She is a self-taught artist and creates gemstone and beaded jewelry that connects to the heart and home of mother nature, and the powerful love and wisdom of grandmother moon.
Her work includes locally sourced materials from Mother Earth, precious metals, pearls & shells from lake waters and great seas, and gemstones of powerful healing properties.
